You must have for belt / transmission service.
1. This bolt winds clockwise into the only threaded insert on the secondary/driven clutch to spread apart the sheaves while compressing the spring for ease of belt removal,
. Then just wind out counter clockwise after belt is re-installed as you turn the secondary / driven clutch clockwise for installation of the belt.
3. Be sure to keep belt in the correct rotation direction
